Industry Delegation to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA)

For the past several years, Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been organising interactions between customers (both importers and exporters) and port authorities. Due to lockdown, there was a gap in these study visits. However, there have been several changes with respect to custom regulations, trade processes and overall port operations during this time.

With the objective of promoting Ease of Doing Business, Bombay Chamber is organizing an exclusive Industry delegation to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) on 6th May 2022. The Chamber believes that the direct interactions between port officials and end-customers lead to efficiency of trade. We request the industry members to take benefit of the same.

Objectives of the Visit :

• To familiarize customers with the post covid norms and customs regulations
• To develop an understanding of real-time port operations
• To understand the functions of an ICD in port
• To get familiarized with various equipments
• To understand safety norms in the port areas
• To get insights into the operations while loading and unloading the cargo
• To familiarize customers with CFS operations
• To facilitate dialogue between customers and service providers

• You will receive final confirmation from Bombay Chamber after completion of the registration form and intimation about the payment.
• You will be required to carry the original identity proof and Fully COVID Vaccination Certificate/Universal Pass (submitted earlier for registration form) copy on the day of the visit. (This is mandatory for security purpose)
